R.K (Ramakrishna
mission ) Beach :
It is most popular beach in Visakhapatnam. It has a long
cost line. Many people visit daily from morning to evening. In early morning
the beach road in R.K Beach is full of morning walkers. In evening it is a
place of entertainment, as many families spent some time here with their kids.
Different types of activities & Entertainment events like Swimming,
Sunbathing & beach volleyball.
Along RK beach Marine museum is an interesting place to stop,
as we can witness some of the interesting facts of our INDIAN NAVY.
Kursura Submarine

VUDA PARK:
As cross RK Beach you will reach another amazing place THE VUDA PARK. It is one of most attractive
place in vizag. It was developed in 55 acres. These vast occupancy distributed
in different attractive segments like lawn, garden. Kids play ground, musical
fountain, yoga center, kala vedika.. etc

KAILASHGIRI:
It is a hilltop park in the city. Just you get pass VUDA Park
and travel around 3kms then you can see Kailashgiri hil. It is easy to recognize
the hill as it was written VUDA KAILASHGIRI
on the hill as it was HOLLYWOOD
written on a hill in Los angles. To get on to the top you can use APSRTC
Special buses or you can hire a cab of your comfort.
There is another interesting way to get on the top of the hill is Rope way. Many people enjoy the rope ride every day. On the top of the hill the main attraction is Lord Shiva Parvathi’s huge statue in a sitting pose. The statue was very attractively constructed and very well maintained. All round the hill beautiful gardens were maintained. At the end of the hill there is a museum. A Mini Train for kids and also for elders had been arranged to go round the hill and enjoy the city view from the top. The Titanic view is an awesome one as we can see sea view from here, many couples loves to take pictures here. Overall it is a good place to hang around with kids and also for couples.

RUSHIKONDA BEACH:
This beach was located on the way to Bheemili. It is far
away from the city, around 13kms from the city. This beach is famous for high
tides. Many people love to take a dip here. Some loves to try surfing here
because of the high tides. We can enjoy a boat ride into the sea by speedboats.
Many resorts are situated near the beach among them Sai priya resort is well
known. You will love spend time in this beach.
YARADA BEACH:
This beach is 15kms away from the city in Yarada village,near gangavaram port (Dolphin nose). This beach is famous for its beautiful view, as there are some green hills around the beach.

BHEEMILI BEACH:
This beach was one a trading port for Dutch &
British. It is 24kms away from the city.
VUDA is undertaking some projects in the Visakhapatnam and Bheemili route to
develop the tourism in global level. The Beach Park is part of that project.
This beach also a attraction for tourists.
ARAKU VALLEY:
Araku valley is beautiful hill station in Visakhapatnam
dist. It is located at 114kms from Visakhapatnam city, close to odisha
border.This valley is surrounded by mountains like Galikonda,Raktakonda. The
highest point is about 5000fts from sea level, this is the highest point in
Andhra Pradesh. Araku is famous for its coffee plantation. The “Araku Emerald”
is famous worldwide.
Many must visit places are there Araku, among them 1) Borra
caves 2) Araku tribal Museum 3) Katiki waterfalls 4) Padmapuram Botanical Gardens 5) Tyda

Burra caves are located in the village Ananthagiri hills.
Burra means something buried in the ground. This cave was basically Karstic
Limestone. It is considered as deepest cave, as the depth is about 80mts. This is one of the largest caves in our
country. In 1807 William King George discovered this cave. The ‘Gosthani’ river
flows from this caves and merge into Bay of Bengal near Bheemili. this river is
main water source of Visakapatnam.
1km from Burra caves toward Vishakhapatnam at Gatevalasa you
will have to stop to see katiki waterfalls. It is open for visitors all the
time. Visitors can enjoy by taking bath at the base of the waterfalls. To get
there you have to trek the hill as vehicles cannot make their way in the muddy
ground. Many small shops are maintained by local tribes for eatables, you will
not miss the taste of bamboo chicken.
Chapari waterfalls are well known as picnic spot, it is
15kms from Araku valley towards Paderu. People can get in to the water &
have a great fun as the flow of water less here. But better keep off on rainy
seasons as the flow will be more. The green trees around water and high stone
make visitor relax and have fun. One can experience the beauty of water gushing
through natural rocks.
